‌‌The Troubled Region is a newsletter of, and about, foreign correspondence. It is an independent publication launched in 2019 by me, Ann Louise Deslandes.

I'm a writer, journalist and researcher in Mexico City, from where I've been reporting on Mexican politics and culture since 2016.
